How do I lay my edges with the wand? Squeeze a small amount onto the applicator, smooth your hairline with the brush, define swoops and baby hairs with the comb, and detail with the pick. Tie a silk scarf over your edges for a few minutes to set.

Full size or pocket size? Full size (2 oz) is for home, with a stand-up base for your vanity. Pocket size (1 oz) is the same brush-and-comb wand in a travel size for touch-ups on the go. Many people get one of each.

Which hold should I choose? Velvet for soft, natural everyday edges. Boss for firm swoops and thicker edges. Liquid Lock 48 for heat, humidity, sweat or styles that need to last all weekend.

Will it flake or leave white residue? Use a small amount; thin layers hold better and don't flake. Liquid Lock 48 is made to hold without heavy buildup, flaking, greasiness or white residue.

Does it work on my hair type? Yes. The formulas work on natural, relaxed, curly and textured hair.

Can I style baby hairs and swoops with it? Yes. That's what the comb and pick are for: shape waves and swoops with the comb, then fine-tune with the pick.
